one is. Ideal for a couple (or two) wanting space or for a small
family and above average lodging. The Manning family owns a lovely
second home on the southern ridge of Beech Mountain and they’ve
created a separate apartment below that’s “just precious”.
Large windows run the entire view side of the house, so that
it’s open, bright, sunny and spacious. A view deck that’s
almost as large as the apartment is quite impressive too. The
master bedroom touts a Queen poster bed and private bath with
whirlpool tub and separate shower. Large glass doors open onto
the deck. The second bedroom, on the opposite end, has twins
or can be up-fitted as a king. It also has glass doors that open
onto the deck, and the second bath is just a step across the
hall. The kitchen is fun and functional and focuses on the dining
and living rooms. The living room has a cozy fireplace with gas
logs. The whole apartment focuses on the view. It’s convenient to both Beech Mtn. and Banner Elk. (only 5 min. to Ski Beech and a healthy walk to the Mercantile and Beech’s new Bark Park). It’s also in an area that affords extensive walking paths and many sights to see. As purveyors of the finest wine shop in our area, the Manning place offers great taste…and they’ll offer you a discount at their wine store too! THIS IS ONE OF A FEW HOMES THAT WILL CONSIDER A PET. |
