| BIRDS AND SPIRITS SOAR from
this highest of perches. Adjacent to the top of Ski Beech’s
slopes, this lovely lodge is most “elevating” for those
who can conquer it. It’s not for everyone in the winter,
but for those looking for adventure and altitude, it’s a
dandy. During the warmer months, you’ll feel you’re
climbing “the stairway to heaven”. The main level features a grand kitchen, wet bar, living and dining rooms with private balconies and magnificent views. There are two bedrooms and two baths (one whirlpool tub and one large shower). The roomy loft upstairs has two Queen beds and a private bath. Downstairs is a den with sofa and childrens’ bunk beds. New living room furniture, stone fireplace (wood burning) and new granite counter tops lend to the southwestern “motif” and lodge feel. New decks will draw you outside to feel the breeze and lofty views overlooking Beech and for many more miles beyond. This house is a great retreat for as fiew as four and as many as ten guests. Due to the steep ascent and close proximity to the ski slopes, you must be ready and willing to park below and tote your gear to/from this house in the winter months. “Only the fittest need apply in the winter”. Our rates reflect this parking and walking “imposition”. Once there, you’ll feel that it was worth it. Year ‘round, it’s breathtaking. |
